The Oyo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of four suspected k!dnappers and the k!lling of two others during an operation that led to the rescue of Busola Adelabu, sister of Bayo Adelabu, and her two children.
The rescue mission, which took place on Saturday night in the Ayegun area of Oluyole Local Government Area, lasted several hours and resulted in the recovery of firearms, including a pump-action gun.

According to the police, the victims were found inside a three-bedroom bungalow believed to have been used as a hideout by the suspects.
Speaking with journalists at the scene on Sunday, the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Oluwagbemiga Abimbola, said the successful operation was carried out following credible intelligence received by security operatives.
“The police acted on a tip-off, which eventually resulted in the rescuing of the victims,” he said.
It was revealed that a gun battle broke out during the midnight raid, leading to the de.ath of two suspects.
While four suspects were taken into custody, several others reportedly escaped from the scene with gunsh.ot injuries and are currently being sought by security agencies.
