Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has publicly called out her estranged husband, actor Freddie Leonard, accusing him of deliberately delaying their ongoing divorce proceedings.
While also alleging that he is involved in a relationship with a married woman who has four children.
In a strongly worded post shared on her page, Peggy claimed that Freddie had previously denied her allegations and sought support from a blogger to discredit her claims. However, she alleged that his stance changed after he was officially served with court documents relating to her petition.
“So called traditional Igbo man with another Igbo man’s wife with 4 children, you ran to a blogger that I was lying but when you were served & saw details of my petition, you knew I had seen 1 out of many, yet refused to show up in court but sent your lawyer.
You said you wanted a divorce , yet you didn’t show up when you were served, please don’t avoid customary court for the 2nd time on June 23rd because I’m coming with receipts & let’s make this Divorce done & dusted . So both of you can finally be together”
The actress further accused Freddie Leonard of failing to appear in court despite allegedly expressing a desire to end their marriage.
She urged him to attend the next court hearing scheduled for June 23, stating that she intends to present evidence to support her claims.
