Media personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown has shared a personal reason behind her decision to step away from her role at Harvesters Church, saying a romantic breakup with a fellow minister made it difficult for her to continue serving in the same environment.
Speaking during a conversation with Pastor Bolaji Idowu, she explained how the situation unfolded and why she eventually chose to leave.
She said;
“I left Harvesters Church because of a man. He broke up with me. We were both ministers at the church; I was the head usher, and he was a minister. I left because I can’t just stay in same church and working with the same person who broke up with me, impossible.”
Morayo Afolabi-Brown’s decision was obviously not about the church itself, but about the emotional difficulty of continuing in the same space after the relationship ended.
