Jarvis has responded to those questioning her decision to marry fellow content creator Peller, saying she is not interested in opinions from people who spend their time predicting the outcome of other people’s lives.
The young content creator spoke out after facing criticism over her recent traditional marriage ceremony with Peller. Some critics have noted that the couple are too young to be taking such a major step, but Jarvis believes those concerns are misplaced.
According to her, many of the people commenting on her relationship should be focusing on their own goals and personal growth instead.
“You have not predicted your destiny, yet you are predicting my marriage. Have you predicted when you’ll be rich and buy a Benz? You’re predicting me, who is better than you.
Some are saying our age is young. You that is 30-plus, has your brain not matured because you’re saying me and Peller’s brains have not matured? Leave me and advise your president,” she said.
Jarvis’ comments come shortly after she and Peller held their traditional marriage ceremony following a family introduction in Benin City, Edo State, where the bride price was paid.
The couple’s relationship has been in the public eye for some time. What started as content collaborations gradually developed into a romance that later led to an engagement in Ghana and, most recently, their traditional wedding ceremony.
For Jarvis and Peller, however, public opinions do not appear to be affecting their plans. The pair have continued to celebrate their relationship openly as they move forward together.
