Jarvis has spoken warmly about Peller‘s support during a period when she was battling low self-esteem and struggling to accept her appearance
Speaking about that time, she remembered how difficult things were for her when her face became swollen. She said she often felt broken emotionally and would cry whenever she looked at herself in the mirror.
What surprised her most was that, despite her insecurities, Peller never treated her any differently. Instead, he continued to show her love, stayed with her at the hospital and reassurance when she needed it most.
“Do you all remember that time when my face was swollen? I was at my lowest, and I never thought somebody would like me. I was always crying whenever I looked in the mirror, but Peller was always there showing me love. In my mind, I was like, ‘Are you mad? How can you like someone whose cheek is swollen?’ God will bless Peller,” she said.
Jarvis explained that her confidence had taken a major hit during that period, but Peller constantly reminded her that she was still beautiful.
“I had low self-esteem during that period, but he was always telling me, ‘You are beautiful,’” she added.
Looking back now, Jarvis says those words and the support she received meant a lot to her. At a time when she struggled to see her own worth, Peller’s encouragement helped her get through it and regain confidence in herself.
