Content creator Jarvis has defended her fiancé, Peller against rapper YCee after his “Olodo uprising” comment

The drama began after YCee criticized what he described as the rise of a culture that celebrates ignorance over academic excellence, referencing Peller while expressing concern about the state of education in Nigeria.

Peller later fired back at the rapper, accusing him of disrespecting younger creators and accusing him of hypocrisy.

Now, Jarvis has stepped in to defend her fiancé, arguing that many educated Nigerians are struggling because of the country’s economic realities and lack of job opportunities. Jarvis, who graduated from university, said education alone does not guarantee success.

She said:

“I went to school and graduated, but the government didn’t provide jobs for us. What exactly did you expect us to do?

Did your president go to school? Tell that to your president.

You can’t expect people with great potential and intelligence to end up cleaning toilets after spending years in school.

Some have turned to theft, k!dnapp!ng, and armed r0bbery because there are no jobs.

We’re only trying to entertain people and earn a living.

We should be grateful for social media because it has helped many of us make money. Without it, I don’t know what Nigeria would look like today.

Please keep my man’s name out of your mouth.”
