Nigerian filmmaker Chinney Love says not every firstborn deserves the reputation of being responsible or kind, arguing that some have caused deep divisions within their families.
She said while many stories celebrate good firstborns, there are also those who are narcissists, bullies and destroyers, adding that their stories deserve to be told too.
In her words:
“Not all firstborns are Monica (Good people).Some are dividers, destroyers, narcissists, bullies, and all-around really Horrible people.
One day the story will be televised! After all, that’s what film is all about. She added that film is meant to reflect real life, which is why she believes stories about difficult firstborns should also be brought to the screen.
