There are gifts that leave you smiling, and then there are the ones that leave you completely speechless. That was the case for actress Regina Daniels after receiving a generous surprise from her Godmother, Mercy Johnson.
Regina had mentioned to Mercy that she needed a television for her new home in Abuja. Instead of sending just that, Mercy decided to do much more. She surprised Regina with a collection of home appliances, turning what was supposed to be a simple request into a thoughtful housewarming gesture.
The surprise clearly touched Regina, who admitted she struggled to hold back tears as she thanked Mercy for the kindness.
Sharing her appreciation, she wrote:
“Mummy, I love you so much, thank you so much, this is too much. You will never lack. Everyone, permit me to show off how spoilt I am. So I told my mama, Mercy Johnson Okojie, that I want a TV for my new home in Abuja. And as always, mama went the extra mile to put a smile on my face. My Queen, I love you. May I never be a part of anything that will cause you pain, Ma. I love you. Thank you, my legend.”
It was a heartfelt moment that reflected the close bond the two actresses have built over the years, with Regina making it clear that the gesture meant far more to her than the appliances themselves.
