Before Peller and Jarvis have even walked down the aisle, their relationship is already drawing different opinions.
One of the voices to weigh in is Ossai Ovie, the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor, who says he is worried about the couple’s decision to get married now.
According to him, his concerns are not about marriage itself but about what he believes is the pace at which things are happening.
He stated that while the pair have built successful careers and enjoy working together, he does not think that automatically translates into being ready for marriage.
Ovie also questioned whether the relationship is built on a strong emotional foundation, saying he sees more of their public content than the kind of connection he believes is needed to sustain a lifelong union.
He added that marriage requires far more than financial success and warned that real tests often come when life becomes difficult and the cameras are no longer rolling.
He also pointed to the age difference between the two, describing Jarvis as older and more experienced, and referenced a previous live session where she reportedly spoke about a prenuptial agreement.
In his view, those are issues the couple should carefully think through before making such a major commitment.
Sharing his thoughts, Ovie wrote:
“Peller and Javis heading for marital disappointment. I just watched Peller and Jarvis’ pre wedding photos and I felt disappointed. At 21, Peller is rushing into marriage And I believe it’s heading for marital disappointment.
All I see between Peller and Jarvis right now is content, not connection. It’s not that I don’t want them to get married But one of the most disappointing things people do is rush into marriage because of money.
Marriage takes more than financial stability.
They’re young, talented, and entertaining But emotionally and maritally, they’re not connected yet.
I don’t see the depth, the maturity, or the kind of love that can sustain marriage when the cameras are off, when money is low, and when pressure comes. Not only is Peller young and marrying at a young age, he’s marrying a woman who’s older than him, more exposed than him, and a woman who once said on a live stream that she’d make him sign a prenup so if they divorce tomorrow, she’d get half of his assets. They’re making a big mistake by rushing into marriage now. ‘He who marries in a hurry, repents in leisure. Marriage is good, but timing is better.
I’m disappointed because I don’t want to see two brilliant young people become another cautionary tale.”
