Life as a mum has given Mo Bimpe a different perspective, and she put those feelings into words while reflecting on what motherhood has been like for her.
The actress described it as a journey that is joyful, demanding, exhausting and beautiful all at once. Between feeding, changing diapers, sharing cuddles and laughter, and keeping up with three little boys, she said she has also learnt that taking a brief moment for herself can make all the difference before returning to her responsibilities.
Taking to her page to reflect on motherhood, she wrote:
“Motherhood has taught me that love can be loud, messy, exhausting, and incredibly beautiful..all at the same time.
Some days are filled with feeding, changing diapers, cuddles, laughter, and a hundred little moments that keep me on my toes.
And somewhere in the middle of it all, I’ve learned the importance of taking a tiny pause… even if it’s just for one comforting cup of drink.
That little moment helps me reset before I go right back to doing what I love most – being mummy to my three kings 💙👑👑👑
To every mum,
I see you.
You’re doing better than you think 🤍”
The actress’s husband, actor Lateef Adedimeji also took a moment to express what fatherhood means to him. In a message dedicated to his wife and their children, the actor said being a father is not about getting everything right but about always being there for the people who matter most.
Describing what fatherhood means to him on his page, he said:
“Fatherhood isn’t about being Perfect, it about being Present.
To my wife, thank you for all you do.
To my beautiful babies Rahman, Raheem and Rakeeb, your dad will always be here for you.”
He accompanied the message with a song and prayers for his children, while also thanking his wife for everything she does for their family.
