Content creator, GehGeh has explained that the wedding ceremony that recently went viral was not real but a carefully planned publicity stunt and social experiment
The online personality made the clarification during an interview with StreamRewind after videos of him and a woman dressed in matching traditional wedding attire circulated on social media, leading many to believe he had secretly married.

The clips caused several fans and fellow content creators to accuse GehGeh of abandoning his long-standing opinions about relationships. He revealed that even some of his family members contacted him to ask why they were not invited.
Speaking on the incident in Pidgin English, GehGeh said the event was deliberately organised to observe how people would react.
“We organised everything as a normal promo. And so far, apart from the fact that we purposely did it, I still wanted to get the public’s reactions.”, he said.
He added that the stunt was also intended to clear up what he described as widespread misconceptions about the teachings of his “GehGeh Wisdom and Knowledge University.”
According to him, many people wrongly believe he advises men never to get married.
GehGeh maintained that he has never opposed marriage itself. Instead, he said he has consistently promoted polygamy over monogamy.
“Some people have a misunderstanding about my GehGeh Wisdom and Knowledge University. When you see some people, the major thing they have been saying is that GehGeh told them not to get married, but I got married.”
“I did not kick against marriage. I said, ‘Do not marry, and even if you must marry, go for polygamy.’ This is because polygamy is the path that guides a man’s heart from heartbreak.”
