Ayra Starr has opened up about a recent health challenge, revealing that she underwent a major surgical procedure that has kept her away from social media
The Grammy-nominated singer shared this with fans on Instagram on Thursday, explaining that her reduced online presence was due to her recovery from the operation.
Although the 24-year-old did not reveal what the surgery was for, she said the procedure turned out to be more complicated than doctors had initially anticipated.
In her message, Ayra apologised to her fans for not being as active as usual and assured them that she is focused on resting so she can fully recover.
Despite her recovery, the singer encouraged fans to continue supporting her upcoming project.
She wrote:
“Hey Mobstarrs, I’m sorry you’re not seeing as much of me as I would like. I had major surgery a few days ago. I was hoping it would be a quick recovery but it was more complicated than they expected.
I just need a bit of rest and I’ll be back!!!”
