Reality TV star Adeola “Diiadem” Adeyemi has set the record straight over claims that she got pregnant for businessman Olakunle Churchill following her messy fallout with former best friend Dabota Lawson.
Taking to her page, Diiadem addressed what she described as a false narrative surrounding her friendship with a man popularly known as Big Church, insisting that their relationship goes back many years.
She said:
“I’ve known Big Church for over 13 years. We have a long-standing friendship that dates back to my school days in Ghana. The pregnancy rumor being attached to our friendship is completely false.”
According to Diiadem, her presence at her friend’s events should not be interpreted as anything beyond friendship and support.
“I attend my friend’s events, I support the people I care about, and that’s all there is to it. Not every friendship needs to be turned into gist.”
She also denied ever confirming that she was pregnant for anyone, saying her earlier reference to a “married ex” has been taken out of context.
“One more thing; I never admitted to being pregnant for anyone, nor did I confirm any of the narratives currently being circulated.”
Diiadem explained that the phrase “my married ex” was not an admission of the claims now attached to it.
“The term ‘my married ex’ was simply me referencing a phrase that had already been used publicly”,she said.
She accused people of taking that statement and building an entirely different story around it.
“Somehow, that has now been turned into an entirely different story. Please, let’s stop turning assumptions into facts.”
Her clarification comes as the fallout between her and Dabota continues to spill onto social media.
What was once a close bond has now turned into one of the most talked-about celebrity fallouts online, with each new statement bringing fresh claims and counterclaims.
