VeryDarkMan has apologised to the Nigerian military following his speech at the Nigerian Bar Association’s Annual General Conference in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
VDM had spoken during a panel on insecurity, where he questioned how security agencies are handling the country’s worsening security situation and alleged that some people benefit from the crisis.
He later addressed the comments and said his words had been misunderstood.
In a post he shared, he said:
“Let me clear the air on this. I apologise to the military, not because I said what the woman claimed I said, but because of how she interpreted it. There was never a time or place where I said the entire military was cørrupt. My apology does not mean I accepted what the lady said. They are beneficial of those insecurities, Gumi said it, that’s why it yet to stop.”
