Pastor Tobi Adegboyega was talking about his experience with the Nigerian and UK systems when the issue of how things work in both countries came up.
He explained that, having studied law, he understands how the system is supposed to work. But from his experience, he feels things can be very different in Nigeria, where money and personal connections can sometimes play a major role.
Speaking on RTM podcast , he said:
“I studied law in school. In Nigeria, money is the law and who you know but in the UK, you can’t get around things like that. The system is tougher here.”
For Adegboyega, the difference comes down to how difficult it is to bypass the system. While he believes money and connections can influence things in Nigeria, he described the UK as a place where the system is much harder to get around.
