UK-based Nigerian pastor Tobi Adegboyega of the Nxtion Family (formerly Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church) has given a positive update on his cancer journey
In a video posted to his Instagram Story on Sunday, September 14, he shared that he’s recovering well after surgery and is now preparing for chemotherapy.
Pastor Tobi shared the video as “proof of life”, saying he’s alive and recovering by God’s grace.
He emphasized choosing to face his illness head-on rather than relying solely on prayer.
Pastor Tobi noted that in Nigeria, people often say “it’s not your portion” when dealing with illness, but said that Jesus himself carried his portion and he has faced his like a man should.
Adegboyega said: “I just wanted to share this as proof of life. By God’s grace, I’m alive, recovering, and I’ve successfully undergone surgery. The next stage is chemotherapy,”
