Cubana Chief Priest has explained why some people in Imo State are backing President Bola Tinubu’s bid for another term, pointing to the access they believe they now have to the presidency through the President’s son, Seyi Tinubu.
Speaking during a campaign event in Imo State, Cubana Chief Priest said the relationship gives them a direct channel to the President and could help them push issues affecting the people of the South-East.
He said:
“We Igbos now have access to Mr. President through his son, Seyi Tinubu. That’s why we’re doing everything to make sure he’s re-elected.”
For him, the support is tied to the belief that having someone close to the President could give the South-East a stronger voice when it comes to matters concerning the region.
