Lima, daughter of veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo), has paid tribute to her late father, remembering him as more than just a parent but also as her best friend.
In an emotional post, Lima thanked her father for the life he lived, the sacrifices he made for his family and the love he showed as both a husband and a father.
“My daddy, I know you are not here but thank you for fighting, thank you for the life that you lived, thank you for being a good husband to our mummies and for being a good daddy to us. He was my best friend”.
Her words reflected the close bond they shared and her appreciation for the role he played in the lives of his family.
Taiwo Hassan Ogogo d!ed on August 23, 2026, at the age of 66, after battling stage-four cancer. He leaves behind his family, loved ones and many years of work in Nollywood.
For his daughter Lima, however, the loss is deeply personal, as she remembers not just a celebrated actor, but a father she described as her best friend.
