The Oyo State government has announced the arest of five suspected terrorists over an attack on a security base in the Oke Ogun area of the state
Commissioner for Information, Dotun Oyelade, disclosed this in a statement on Monday.
Recall gvnmen on Sunday attacked a security base situated along Igbeti/Igboho road.
It was learnt that a generator and motorcycle were carted away by the attackers during the attack.
Oyelade disclosed that five suspected terror!sts have been arrested.
He further disclosed that the Acting Governor, Mr Bayo Lawal, has visited the scene of the attack.
“Not less than five of the terror!sts have been arrested in military uniforms. More arrests are expected to be made,” Oyelade said.
