Actress Sotayo Gaga has asked people seeking financial support to start or grow their businesses to stop directing such requests to her.
In a message, the actress and philanthropist explained that she is not part of the government and does not have the resources to meet the financial needs of everyone who reaches out to her.
She said she also needs money for her own business but has chosen to support people from the income she makes from her YouTube movies.
In a post she shared, she said:
“so lots of people have been messaging me that they needed me to assist them with money for them to start their businesses, l am using this medium to inform you all today that l am not the state Govt and neither the Federal G0vvt disbursing money to the general public
I have my own business too that l need more money for but am not disturbing anyone on social media, only few people watch my movie on YouTube and its the proceeds from the YouTube movies l have been given out to the needy on streets So l don’t know some felt entitled, pls let’s direct all our needs to our govt not me”.
