Actor Yemi Solade has explained why he usually blocks people who send him “Happy New Month” messages on WhatsApp.
According to him, he does not understand the need to celebrate the beginning of every month when the New Year has already been celebrated in January.
“I normally block people whenever they send me Happy New month messages on my WhatsApp because what’s new about the month?.
“We already had Happy New Year, like year 2026 now which we can’t have anymore and we already celebrated happy new year since January so why are you greeting me every month?
“We will definitely still have October month by next year but we can’t have yr 2026 anymore, so let’s forget about the months and just focus on the year abeg
Some people would even be sending or forwarding messages to me every month and my phone will become so hot, immediately l block them because l don’t have time for rubbish”.
