Cubana Chief Priest has made it clear that criticism over his support for President Bola Tinubu will not change his political position as he continues to stand firmly behind the president ahead of the 2027 general election.
The Businessman and nightlife promoter has been vocal about his support for Tinubu in recent months, particularly after aligning himself with the City Boy Movement, a group campaigning for the president’s re-election. He currently serves as the movement’s Imo State coordinator.
In a post he shared, CCP wrote:
“The more they búlly us for supporting President Tinubu, the more dedicated we are to loving him”.
Although ChiefPriest supported Peter Obi during the 2023 presidential election, he has since changed his political allegiance and is now openly backing Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
In March 2026, he admitted that not supporting Tinubu in the last election was a mistake and urged people in the South-East to reconsider their political choices ahead of 2027.
He maintained that the criticism will not make him reconsider his position.
