Skitmaker Sabinus has questioned why many Nigerians remain silent about the problems facing the country, especially when calls for better governance often come with criticism from others.
He pointed out the difficulty people face when they try to speak up about issues affecting the country.
According to him, those who demand accountability from the government are often told to mind their business, while those who choose to stay away from such conversations are also criticised.
Sabinus questioned how people are expected to respond to the situation when they face criticism regardless of whether they speak up or remain quiet.
He also stressed the need for Nigerians to put their differences aside and come together to demand the rights and better leadership they deserve.
He cited the importance of collective action, raising questions about how much can be achieved when people remain divided instead of standing together on issues that affect them all.
In a post, he said:
“A lot is going on in this country, yet we’re just keeping quiet. You demand good governance, and they tell you to mind your business. You try to mind your business, and they still insult you. When are we going to come together as one and demand what we are owed?”.
