Evangelist Tonto Dikeh has explained that her relationship with Christ started long before many people think, saying there is a misconception about when she gave her life to Christ.
She said the things she has spoken about God were things she received privately, adding that her walk with Christ did not begin when she publicly came out as a Christian.
Speaking at NHN Bloom Conference 2026 , she said:
“Everything I said God told me, he told me in private, there’s a misconception about when I came out and when I gave my life to christ, I’ve always been with Christ, to the point where I was going to be ordained a pastor at 17 years old”.
