Portable has called out VeryDarkMan over the ₦200 million reportedly given to him by Burna Boy, questioning how the money was spent and what happened to the funds meant for his NGO.
The singer also accused the activist of using his activism to serve his personal interests. Bringing up their past disagreement, Portable recalled how VeryDarkMan allegedly called him a thief and posted his nude pictures.
He said:
“VeryDarkMan, you called me a thief and posted my nudes. Burna Boy gave you ₦200 million. Wetin you use am do? You go build ashawo house? Where NGO money dey? You’re just fighting for your pocket. Burna Boy, go and collect your money back.”
Portable questioned what had been done with the money and saying that VeryDarkMan’s activism was driven by personal gain rather than the causes he claims to support. He also urged Burna Boy to ask for his money back.
