Funke Akindele has advised people not to let relationships get in the way of the things they are working hard to achieve.
The actress noted that after putting in the work, making sacrifices and spending sleepless nights building something, love can sometimes become a distraction. She made it clear that falling in love is not a bad thing, but people should remember their worth and not lose themselves in the process.
In a post she shared, she wrote:
“You work so hard, sleepless nights, sacrifices, building something from scratch. Then come the accolades! But you see, distractions will come in different forms, sometimes even in the form of love.
“Nothing wrong with falling in love o! Just don’t lose yourself. Know your worth, stay focused and love yourself first. I’m preaching to myself too.”
