BBNaija Season 11 housemate Mercedes has appealed to music executive Don Jazzy for help with getting a place of her own, saying she has been struggling to rebuild her life since leaving the reality TV show.
In a message to the music executive she shared on Sunday, October 25, 2026, Mercedes explained that life after the show has not been as easy as some people might think. While the exposure may look like a dream come true from the outside, she said she is still trying to find her feet and work out her next steps.
She wrote:
“Since leaving the Big Brother house, I’ve been struggling to find my feet again. People may see the exposure and assume I’m living my dream, but behind the scenes, I’m trying so hard to rebuild my life. I don’t even see myself as a celebrity. I’m just a young woman trying to find her place in the world.

“Sir, I’m not asking for a luxurious lifestyle. I’m asking for a chance to stand on my own two feet.
“If you could help me secure a place of my own and start this new chapter, it would mean more to me than I can explain. I know you must receive countless requests, but I hope you can hear the sincerity in mine.” into a place of my own.
