Lionel Richie has admitted he is ‘scared to death’ that his teenage daughter Sofia, 19, is dating ladies’ man Scott Disick, 34.
The legendary musician, 68, said he was ‘in shock’ over his youngest child’s choice of boyfriend.
Speaking while promoting the new series of American Idol today, Lionel told US Weekly: ‘I’m scared to death, are you kidding me? Have I been in shock?! I’m the dad, come on.’
Sofia and Scott went public with their romance in late September after first being linked back in May, when they insisted they were just ‘homies’.
As well as being a self-confessed ‘sex addict’ and notorious womanizer, Scott is a father-of-three, raising three children, Mason, seven, Penelope, five, and Reign, two, with ex-girlfriend of 10 years Kourtney Kardashian.
