Veteran Nollywood actress Stephanie Okereke has mourned her colleague, Francis Duru, following news of his de.ath.
Stephanie expressed her sadness over the actor’s passing, offering prayers for his family as they come to terms with the loss.
Taking to her page to mourn him, she wrote:
“Such a trgic and hartbreaking loss. May God grant his family the strength and fortitude to bear this loss. May his soul rest in peace. RIP, Francis Duru”.
His de.ath was announced by his family in a statement shared on his official Instagram page on Friday, October 23, 2026. The family reportedly said he died after a brief illness.
