Beat FM CEO/ Managing Director, Chris Ubosi has sued Roc Nation owned by Jay Z for alleging breaching a contract they had in 2012.
According to Ubosi, he paid the company $160,000 for Rihanna to appear at a concert in Nigeria in May 2013, but the star failed to show up. He said when he contacted them, they said another date should be fixed which was almost impossible. Since then, Roc Nation has refused to refund the money which has left Ubosi with no choice than to sue the company.
Rihanna’s reps had agreed to a single, 65-minute performance.
