Former Nigerian footballer, Emmanuel Emenike has blasted State Governors, alleging they are only focused on embezzling public funds and have zero development plans for their states
The ex-Super Eagles striker, disclosed this in an Instagram post today, October 14, 2026.
Emenike wrote;
“The arrogance and confidence in some of these Governor’s makes me sick and a lot of them doesn’t have good plans for the future of their state. Zero plans. Just embezzle money and una police and army go still they follow them with empty stomach. Jokers.
“Nigeria is finished and gone. We thought it was a country when when we played for Nigeria not knowing that it is an embezzlement ground.”
