Amy Adams from Minnesota has dubbed herself ‘world’s meanest mum’, the no-nonsense num put her 15-year-old daughter’s monster truck up for sale on Craigslist in order to ‘teach her a lesson’. The youngster didn’t take school work seriously and skipped school, Adams says her daughter was on her ‘last chance’ when she skipped school again on Monday and tried to run away from home so she decided to show some tough love. She put the car for sale on Craigslist advertising it as ‘every teenage kid’s dream vehicle’ in order to teach her daughter that it’s not okay to not take school work seriously, disrespect family, and try to run away.
The post got over 400 comments many of whom are parents giving her the thumbs up, her daughter’s friends weren’t happy however and flagged the post causing it to be taken down, the determined mum put it up a second time but the friends flagged it again and it was taken down a second time.
The 1980 dodge ram was advertised for $2750, while some feel she went too far, Adams says she knows what it’s like to be a cocky 15-year-old and she wants her daughter to learn that actions have consequences.
