Lebanese Slaughtered At Home In Kano

Kano Lebanese community was thrown into mourning yesterday,
following the death of its senior citizen fondly called Baba at his fortified
residence located at Unity Road, Kano Central Business District.

The Commissioner of Police, Muhammad Katsina, told Vanguard
on phone that the deceased 67 was slaughtered by his ‘close associate’ in his
apartment, Monday night. The local police boss noted that four suspects had
been arrested in connection with the gruesome murder, adding “they have offered
vital information to us.”

He refused to volunteer the name of the decease because of
security implication, saying “details of the crime would be made known to
public in due course.”
