The driver of the vehicle, a military personnel, was said to
be speeding when his tyre burst and the vehicle somersaulted several times.

The unconscious military personnel was taken to the nearby
Military Hospital in Ikoyi in a tricycle, popularly known as “Keke Marwa’’ by
his colleagues. The victim, who was identified as Bisi by her colleagues, was
said to be a dutiful worker who loved her job with passion in spite of the
little salary she earned.
