An Egba Chief, the Oluwo of
Ikanna, Chief Moses Oyebade was Wednesday night shot dead by suspected
assassins who gained access into his house around 12:00am and shot him several
times till he died. The assailants left a note in English and Yoruba which read:
‘Useless man. Oni dokudo (promiscuous).’
The chief however only celebrated his 75th birthday in Lagos two
weeks ago before the incident.
