After forcing Ogun Senator-elect Buruji Kashamu to stay
indoors since Saturday, 23rd of May, the NDLEA officials have finally
vacated his Lekki home and its surroundings yesterday evening. According to the
Director of Kashamu’s campaign organisation, Mr. Lekan Adekoya, they left
around 7:45pm last night. Hopefully Kashamu will be sworn-in today as a Senator
in Nigeria, but that is if, NDLEA men do not storm the venue. But at least for
now, they have left his home.
