Update at 12:48pm: An APC party agent has asked
why the results from Rivers State were delayed. And here’s how Prof. Jega
answered him;
“Sunday morning, I
received a petition from APC demanding for the cancellation & rescheduling
of elections. We have established that elections were held in Rivers State. We
cannot establish cancellation of results either. The decision of the commission
is that we will take the results of the elections in Rivers State,” he
said. The results are now being announced.
