A$AP Rocky is reflecting on his love for Rihanna as they take the 2026 Met Gala carpet
As the couple arrived on the Metropolitan Museum of Art steps on May 4, they briefly chatted with reporters about the “Costume Art”-themed event. Rihanna, 38, quipped that she is the “art and the artist” in her gold dramatic Maison Margiela gown, per a video shared on X by Variety. In the same clip, Rocky — who donned a baby pink coat adorned with a feathered brooch — said she “shining like a diamond.”
Rocky, 37, also spoke about their love for one another, telling the outlet that “it feels amazing” to be loved by a Black woman, adding that “nothing else compares.”
Rihanna’s sculptural gown featured a structured bodice that created a dress-within-a-dress illusion. The majority of the piece was made with a shiny fabric that looked like liquid metal, while the center appeared to be dripping in actual jewels. Her accessories included ear cuffs and rings, and she rocked a glam makeup look featuring frosty eyeshadow and a hairstyle adorned with gold hardware.
Rocky’s jacket appeared to pay tribute to his new role as girl dad, and he paired the statement outerwear with a bow tie and loafers.
The nine-time Grammy winner and Rocky welcomed their third baby, daughter Rocki, on Sept. 13, 2025. They are also parents to two sons: RZA, born in 2022, and Riot, who arrived in 2023.
