Alhaji Dawud Akinola today was installed as the new Aare
Musulumi of Yorubaland in faraway Ibadan, Oyo State, replacing Late Alhaji
Abdul-Azeez Arisekola- Alao who had occupied the position for many years before
his demise on the 17th of July, 2014. Among those who graced the
occasion were the State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, his Osun counterpart, Rauf
Aregbesola, the Minister of Communication, Mr Adebayo Shittu, and Mr Michael
Adeyemo, the Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly.
