The resumed hearing in the trial of the Offa bank robbery suspects was stalled on tuesday due to the absence of the prosecution’s witness, a police officer, who is on a national assignment.
Counsel for the Prosecution, Bola Gold, therefore sought adjournment until the Tenth of February.
Justice Halima Salman expressed displeasure over the delay, saying she is disposed to speedy hearing of the case.
The five suspects have been standing trial since 2018 over their alleged involvement in the incident which claimed the lives of more than thirty person including police officers.
