Michael Lenin, a leader of the #EndBadGovernance protests in Abuja, was arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) at his residence in the early hours of Monday

According to Damilare Adenola, Director of Mobilisation for the Take It Back Movement, Lenin’s house was raided, and he was tortured in the presence of his family.
Adenola is demanding Lenin’s immediate and unconditional release.
Micheal Lenin, also the National Coordinator of the Youth Rights Campaign, had spoken out against President Bola Tinubu’s recent broadcast, calling it “out of touch with reality.”
The arrest comes as the protests continue, with Lenin calling for citizens to come out in large numbers on Monday to press for their demands.
