In Abuja, protesters were forcefully dispersed by police using tear gas, while in Lagos, thugs threatened to behead protesters and journalists, with police failing to intervene.

In Port Harcourt, protesters gathered peacefully, but in Ojota, Lagos, thugs disrupted the demonstration, threatening violence against protesters and journalists, despite police presence.

Activist Zokira Ibeh reported the incident, highlighting the failure of police to protect protesters.

The protests, which began on Thursday, aim to bring attention to issues of hunger and poor governance, but have been met with intimidation and violence, raising concerns about the right to peaceful assembly and freedom of expression.
