Veteran actor Charles Olumo ‘Agbako’ is de.ad

Veteran Nollywood actor, Abdulsalam Sanyaolu, popularly known as Charles Olumo or Agbako is de.ad

The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) president, Bolaji Amusan (Mr. Latin), announced the sad news on Instagram.

He wrote;

“#tampanglobal regrets to announce the passing of Pa Charles Olumo Sanyaolu (Agbako). Details of the burial arrangements will be shared later. Rest in peace, father (25/02/1923 – 31/10/2024).”

Fellow actor Jide Kosoko also paid tribute, writing: “Good night, Baba Charles (Agbako). You lived a fulfilling 101 years. May your legacy endure. R.I.P.”

Agbako celebrated his 101st birthday earlier this year.
