Benji Gregory, ab actor who played Brian Tanner on the 1980s TV show “Alf,” has d!ed at the age of 46
His body was found in his car in a bank parking lot in. Arizona.
Gregory’s sister Rebecca said he had mental health issues and a sleep disorder.
Friends think he may have fallen asleep in his car after going to the bank.
The extreme heat in Arizona might have caused his d3ath, but officials haven’t confirmed this yet.
Gregory’s service dog also d!ed in the car.
Fans have expressed their sadness online.
One fan, Harriet, said, “Omg! That is crushing. So young… why.” Another wrote, “Tragic L”. Chuck commented, “Terrible condolences to his family and friends.”
Gregory’s family thanked people for their support, saying, “We are grieving a great loss and appreciate everyone’s thoughts and kind words.” They asked for donations to be made to The Actors Equity Foundation or the ASPCA in Gregory’s memory.
Gregory was famous for his role in “Alf” from 1986 to 1990. He later joined the US Navy in 2003 after leaving acting.
