Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has sparked reactions online after strongly condemning Igbo men who criticize fellow Igbo individuals for supporting President Bola Tinubu ahead of the general election.
In a passionate post, the actor accused such critics of being selective in their outrage and challenged their consistency when it comes to political disagreements involving other ethnic groups.
He questioned why, according to him, they only confront people within their own community while avoiding similar actions toward supporters from other regions.
Yul wrote:
“Any Igbo man who is dragging his fellow Igbo man for supporting President TINUBU, that person is a monkey and a coward.
Show me a video of you dragging Yorubas who are supporting TINUBU.
Show me a video of you dragging Northerners who are supporting TINUBU.
Show me a video of you dragging all the past leaders who couldn’t fix Nigeria.
Show me a video of you dragging Northern celebrities who support TINUBU.
None.
You don’t have the liver to do it.
But when it’s your Igbo brother, you’ll rush and set the ring light to drag him.
You’re a monkey and a big coward.
Shame on you”.
