Actress, Eniola Badmus, has issued a public apology to her colleague Opeyemi Aiyeola after a controversy surrounding a comment she made about Aiyeola’s hair loss
The drama unfolded when Badmus asked Aiyeola about her receding hairline, which Aiyeola took offense to, labeling Badmus as “ignorant” and an “animal.”
The issue began when Badmus made a lighthearted comment about Aiyeola’s hair loss, asking, “Ope, where is your front hair?”
Aiyeola responded strongly, referencing Badmus’s own past struggles with body shaming and ridicule before undergoing surgery.
Badmus took to the comment section of Aiyeola’s post to apologize, explaining that her intention was not to offend.
She wrote, “Babe I was just joking with you and heaven sees my heart that it’s coming from a place of love and based on our relationship but if you find it offensive no vex….. @opeyemi_aiyeola1”
