Things have taken a dramatic turn in Lagos as actress Funmi Bank Anthony and actor Uche Maduagwu were reportedly involved in a physical altercation, following an ongoing and very public dispute.
The tension between the two didn’t just start overnight. Earlier, Funmi Bank Anthony had already filed a ₦100 million lawsuit against Maduagwu. This came after he allegedly made claims linking her to the rumored fallout between fellow actresses Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham.
Before the recent clash, Funmi had shared a strongly worded video addressing the situation and denying any connection to the claims. Clearly frustrated, she questioned how Maduagwu even knew her and why her name was being dragged into the controversy.
Here’s what she said in part:
“I never wanted to do this video before but my DM is full with curses.
Uchennadu, do i know you? Have I ever met you or see you before? Did we go to the same secondary school? Where do I know you?
That i told you about Funke Akindele, Iyabo Ojo and Toyin Abraham, what is the correlation, how? Where do I know you?
I have always been on my own because I don’t like trouble, that is why I’m always on my lane minding my business and focus on my career.
The first time I have i ever sat one on one with Queen mother (Iyabo Ojo) was 3days ago at Cinema, and Toyin Abraham is my childhood friend.
The most painful part is, some people actually believed him and they started entering my DM to curse me.
Uche Maduagwu, you will suff£r in your life.

Despite the warning and the legal action, the situation seems to have escalated instead of cooling down, culminating in the reported physical confrontation in Lagos.
As of now, neither party has publicly shared full details of what led to the altercation, but the incident has already sparked conversations online, with many calling for calm and a more peaceful resolution.
