Adesua Etomi has shared her battle with hyperemesis gravidarum following the de.ath of a woman who also battled with the sickness
According to American media outlet PEOPLE, the woman, identified as Jess Cronshaw, took her life while struggling with the debilitating condition, which causes extreme nausea and vomiting, often leading to weight loss and dehydration.
According to the media outlet, the woman k!lled herself after the extreme morning sickness left her bedridden.
Reacting to it via her Instagram story, Adesua expressed her frustration over people not understanding how serious the condition is.
She wrote;
“When I talk about the seriousness of hyperemesis gravidarum, people don’t get it and I hate it. I am grateful for my husband, my doctors, family, and friends who rallied around me.
It is not an ordinary morning sickness. It is a serious condition that literally affects the quality of your life”.
While celebrating her birthday in February, Adesua recalled the health trials she faced in 2024.
