AfDB President Akinwunmi Adesina Loses Mum
African Development Bank (AfDB) President, Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina has announced the death of his mother, Eunice O. Adesina.
Adesina took to his twitter handle to announce the death of his mother on Thursday.
Eunice died at the age of 92.
The AfDB president eulogised her mother, saying he was blessed to have her as his mother.
He was proud to have been given birth to, nursed, cared for and brought up by her mother, saying he would be forever grateful.
Adesina wrote;
“My darling mother, Eunice O. Adesina passed away today at the age of 92. I am blessed you were my mother. You gave birth to me, nursed me, cared for and brought me up.
“I am forever grateful Mum. So long sweet Mum, greet Dad and sleep well. I love you. Your loving baby, Akins💕💕”
