Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, missed the team’s last training session held inside the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, on Wednesday after losing a family member.
The Fatih Karagumruk of Turkey striker was given permission to leave the team’s camp to be with family members following the incident.
The 28-year-old will however join up with the rest of the squad in Cameroon ahead of Nigeria’s first game against Egypt on January 11.
